This week, Frank J. Tassone asks us to write the haikai poem of our choice (haiku, senryu, tanka, kyoka, haibun, haiga, renga, etc.) that alludes to a total solar eclipse (Kaiki nisshoku).
This haibun will also work for #TankaTuesday, where we’re in the Clear & Bright Season: (April 4 – 18) Seimei 清明.
As always, Frank asks:
1. write the haikai poem of your choice.
2. post the link of your post to Mister Linky.
3. Ping back by posting the link to the challenge on your site.
4. read and comment on other contributors’ posts.
This karmic catalyst asks us to evolve into a collective awakening. Reflect, Release, and embrace new beginnings. Receive the light, face your shadows, and let go of all that no longer serves you.

The windows are all in! I’ve been cleaning for days it seems. I’m worn out but hope to get some rest soon. The eclipse energy has me firmly within it’s grips right now! 💜
