This week for #TankaTuesday, we’re in the second week of the Japanese season, the beginning of summer. Poets were to write three different forms using kigo phrases or choose early summer kigo words. The Northern Hemisphere kigo phrase list included “the month of Maying,” “young leaves,” and “cooling on the porch.”
